From 1 February 2010 it's obligatory to CE mark windows and French windows sold on the European market.

The CE mark is a Conformity declaration, that indicates that a product is suitable to be used as it respects the essential requirements established by the 89/106/CE directive regarding building products.

Navello windows already conform with the requirements foreseen by EN 14351-1:2010, product standard CE marked windows from April 2008.

What does CE marked Navello windows mean?

A certified Quality System according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 demonstrates the ability of Navello to keep the entire manufacturing process under control, from purchasing an order up to customer delivery as all company phases contribute to the quality of a product and service offered to customers.

	AIR PERMEABILITY (EN 1026) Rating according to the UNI EN 12207 certification: SETA: class 4 NOVECENTO: class 4 NUVOLA: class 4 What does it mean? Great air tightness against draughts, less dust on sills and inside the house, certains stay clean longer, comfortable environment and higher energy savings.
	WATER TIGHTNESS (EN 1027) Rating according to the UNI EN 12208 certification: SETA: class 7A NOVECENTO: class 9A NUVOLA: class E900 What does it mean? High protection from infiltrations of water, no damages on sills or on wooden pavements in front of windows and French windows with rails lower than the wooden frame
	WIND RESISTANCE (EN 12211) Rating according to the UNI EN 12210 certification: SETA: class C4 NOVECENTO: class C4 NUVOLA: class 3 What does it mean? Great wind tightness, no uncontrolled or sudden opening of the windows, better safety for people inside the house.
	THERMAL TRANSMITTANCE According to the UNI EN ISO 10077/1 and UNI EN ISO 10077/2 SETA: 1,55 Uw (with warm edge spacing Uw=1,4) NOVECENTO: 1,51 Uw (with warm edge spacing Uw=1,37) NUVOLA: 1,57 Uw (with glass Ug=0,7 and warm edge spacing Uw=1,19) What does it mean? If the thermal transmittance rate is low, the amount of heat that comes out through the windows will be low as well, and so the amount of fuel necessary to heat the house and expenses; moreover the carbon dioxite emission in the atmosphere will be reduced, so as pollution.
